Decade in Review Event

Please join the District Bridges Board of Directors & Staff as we reflect on the last decade of our work and cast a vision for what comes next.

Over the past ten years, we launched the nation’s first Multi–Main Street model, supported the creation of several others, and hosted countless events and marketing campaigns to drive economic vitality while building community and connection. We developed Access Point, our online technical assistance platform, to more equitably serve businesses across the city, and pioneered a new model of connective services to support neighbors in crisis. District Bridges has become not only a leader in community-based economic development, but a bold, pioneering organization willing to try new things to create lasting impact.

We’ve also faced incredible challenges—from a global pandemic and limited philanthropic investment to systemic misunderstandings of our innovative models and the financial constraints of the traditional nonprofit structure. As we navigate continued uncertainty, our commitment to this work remains unwavering.

This milestone offers both a moment to reflect and an opportunity to reimagine our future. That’s why we’re launching a comprehensive strategic planning process over the next year.
