Ashley Edwards

Ashley is from Northern Virginia and attended the University of Mary Washington, where she received her BA in Communications + Digital Studies. During her time there, Ashley studied abroad in Wales with a Digital Communications + Creative Media program, managed the Office of Admissions social media program, filmed content for the Center of International Education, and served as the promotions chair for the women’s club lacrosse team.

Ashley has experience with highlighting local businesses and bringing sustainability to the District through community activations and engagement with residents. She plans to build upon these relationships and deepen connections within Ward 1 to further District Bridge’s social justice efforts. On weekends, you can find Ashley frequenting her favorite neighborhood taco spots and walking her dog Quincy around the U Street Corridor (home for the last 6 years).
