SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2

Start your day with Van Ness Main Street’s (VNMS) 8th Annual Holiday Pop Up Market from 11am-4pm! Shop 30 of the area’s most creative makers, a Holiday Hunt for prizes, hear the Singing Capital Chorus & more. More details here.

Walk south of the Tenleytown station and discover URBNmarket, an artisan pop-event at City Ridge. On Saturday, December 2 from 3pm-8pm, and Sunday, December 3 11am-4pm, shop from over 50 carefully-curated local vendors on City Ridge’s historic Great Lawn. Don’t miss the Saturday community tree lighting ceremony at 7pm, featuring a performance from the Children’s Chorus of Washington. More details here.

From there take the metro down to Cleveland Park, where the 3rd annual Cleveland Park Winter Market will pop up in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue NW from 2:30pm-7:30pm. Browse and shop the market with over 20 local vendors, soundtracked by live music!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9

Hop off at the Friendship Heights station to visit Chevy Chase’s Spark! Fest and Winter Market from 1pm-5pm. This festive day along Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase, DC will feature a gingerbread house building station, performances from National Wesley Carolers, and a meet and greet with Frozen’s Elsa. Take a ride to the Tenleytown station and get all your last minute holiday shopping done at the Tenleytown Winter Holiday Market on Wednesday, December 13 from 5pm-10pm at the newly opened East West Cafe (4619 41st St NW).
