Rice Market and Logan Circle Main Street are teaming up for a series of intimate fundraiser cooking classes and dinners, with proceeds benefiting Logan Circle Main Street. Come cook, chat, and dine alongside your neighbors while supporting your community.

BAO BUN & BRAISED PORK BELLY : Cooking Class + Dinner

Eddie is now coming up with a new class. This time, he is tackling one of the most popular and upcoming Chinese appetizers, Bao Bun (aka Gua Bao) and Braised Pork Belly. He will reveal the science behind these soft, pillowy yet chewy steamed buns and how to make them at home from scratch. He also demonstrates how to make braised pork belly, Taiwanese style, that goes along perfectly with the buns.

We will start the evening with appetizer, steamed pork dumpling, then learn how to make pork belly and buns which later will be our dinner along with accompany dishes (cucumber salad -Sichuan style and hot and sour soup). Included are your choice of alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages. We will complete the meal with Eddie’s desserts.
