What Is The Ward 3 Small Business Support Ecosystem?
Ward 3 is home to over 4,000 small businesses and while the Ward is also home to seven Main Street programs and a newly forming Business Improvement District (BID) these organizations only serve 563 of Ward 3’s total small businesses. However, in 2023, District Bridges received funding to help fill the gap and support businesses that are not currently supported by a Main Street or BID in Ward 3.
Additionally, we are working to build a more cohesive and coordinated strategy for promoting small businesses across the Ward through collaborations with the existing community development organizations.
