Dario Martinez

As a native Washingtonian that grew up in Columbia Heights, I have experienced firsthand the needs of my community. I joined District Bridges for many reasons but primarily to support my community and the local businesses in Columbia Heights and throughout Washington, DC. Besides working at District Bridges, I have worked at many other local businesses and have assisted at many community events around Washington, DC. Additionally, I have completed my Associates Degree from the University of the District of Columbia in Liberal Studies and am currently a Junior completing my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. I was also incredibly involved in the formation of the bike union at Capital Bike Share and served as a Shop Steward advocating for my fellow colleagues and myself. I enjoy playing soccer and riding my bike with friends, as well as organizing bike events for the biking community.
