Mount Pleasant and Columbia Heights Main Streets are pleased to announce the businesses that have been awarded Small Business Grants. The Selection Committee chose businesses who have not received Small Business Grant funding in recent years, and had clear and compelling needs to heal from the pandemic and better serve the community.

The awardees are:

Image Hair Salon – They will be using the grant funds to remodel a currently underutilized space in order to offer more services.

Queen’s English – They will be replacing doors and installing an AC unit to enhance the security and comfort of guests and employees.

A & C Salon – The will be using the funds for graphic design & artwork.

Patrick’s Pet Care – They will be purchasing and installing storage shelving.

Mount Pleasant Family Dental – They will be using the funds for exterior signage & interior improvements.

Each of these projects will impact the surrounding communities in Mount Pleasant and Columbia Heights by helping ensure a vibrant, safe, and livable community despite the hardships of the pandemic. Congratulations to the winners!
