Frequently asked questions

What is the Columbia Height’s Month?

If this last year has taught us anything, it’s that local community matters more than ever. Instead of just a one day festival to celebrate our neighborhood, we thought it deserved a whole month of showing back some of the love it shows us! From exploring neighborhood history to enjoying outdoor spaces and supporting small businesses, there are so many ways to give back. It is free to participate, though some challenges involve showing proof of patronage to a small businesses (aka a receipt).

Do I have to download an app?

No! The month long challenge can be played in any browser- on a laptop, desktop, phone or tablet, and all you need to pick up where you left off is the email you created your account in.

Why is this campaign important this year?

While it’s always important to support local businesses, the campaign this year feels especially poignant. We are going through a turbulent time for small businesses and many of our beloved local spots that make our communities feel unique are at risk of closing. If people only shop online or at big box chain stores, our local business community will cease to exist.

What are the raffle prizes?

Keep checking back—we’re adding to this list! Last year there were over $2500 in local prizes!
